Robyn Bahr The Hollywood Reporter The documentary, without necessarily meaning to, reveals White as a cultural chameleon, shifting her roles to meet the needs of her audiences through time. Aug 21, 2018 Full Review John Anderson Wall Street Journal Betty White has become kind of a media character in her golden years, but what "First Lady of Television" also emphasizes, rightly, is what an accomplished actress and comedian she is. Aug 17, 2018 Full Review Rob Thomas Capital Times (Madison, WI) In between the gushing testimonials from the likes of Carl Reiner, Ryan Reynolds and Valerie Bertinelli, there's the story of a smart, talented woman who figured out right away what made television different. tom m I've been a fan of Betty White, so it was interesting to watch this tribute/retrospective. Well done. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member How can you not love this documentary on such a spectacular lady?!! LOVED this!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I went with 2 1/2 stars for this docu. show, I am a fan of Betty White and I think that any fan of Betty White should watch this docu./show. I found this randomly on Netflix and it made me smile and laugh. A cute docu./show on Betty White where other celebrities talk and reflect on her. They also show old clips of her and interview her throughout. Very short and sweet docu./show a little over a hour or so, I just hope when it's my time to pass away that I would be so fondly remembered and cared for as people care for Betty White. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Biography of Betty White. Interesting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/21 Full Review Audience Member While there's no question that Betty White is a fun personality to get to know better, there's just not much to this aimless and familiar celebrity biography.
