Danny Bowes RogerEbert.com The star turn, and the only major element in "Bewakoofiyaan" that transcends the by-the-numbers assembly line rom-com, is Rishi Kapoor. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 17, 2014 Full Review Andy Webster New York Times This tale of a yuppie couple flirts with intriguing notions of recessionary struggle, though strained, contrived humor bogs it down. Mar 16, 2014 Full Review Shilpa Jamkhandikar Reuters What could have been an interesting film about the times we live in, turns out to be an insipid romance that neither engages nor entertains. The actors seem unable to rise above their stunted roles and the situations aren't funny enough. Jun 23, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Ahmed M Expected better, but when you have Ayushmann Khurrana as the main lead, you shouldn't expect much from him or the movie. The writing is horrible and none of the performances are outstanding or something like that, to make it worthy of a watch. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/06/16 Full Review Audience Member Disappointing performance from Ayushmann Khurrana after Vicky Donor. Great performance from Rishi Kapoor and average performance from Sonam Kapoor. Time pass movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member You don't feel like watching a movie at all. Movie is dumb and unromantic ,lacks humor and very silly. The movie lacks the very essential 'Soul'. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Rishi Kapoor's characterization overtook, most of the apparent flaws that the movie could be thought to have.. Most of the tone of the movie was natural, with some amount of Bollywood unnaturalness thrown in for good fun.. Sonam has gained strength on screen, and the power packed performance is around the corner.. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Songs weren't that great but I loved their chemistry and thought the writing was very cute and romantic without being overly cheesy. Also it was a very modern Bollywood story which I haven't really seen.
