A heartfelt and hopeful portrait of four of the original AGs that feels more complete and finds each of them on steadier footing -- eventually. Go to Full Review
Teo Bugbee New York Times 11/17/2023
In each of these updates, Peddle hews close to his original film’s style: he asks his subjects to define themselves and then he keeps watching, letting their actions color in the lines of their self-definition. Go to Full Review

The AGGRESSIVES 11/22/2023 It was a very enlightening experience See more Gavin H 05/13/2024 What a fantastic documentary on these individuals! I didn't even check my phone once during this! See more Lucas I 05/13/2024 An exceptional and unique story on the nuanced lives of these individuals! See more Aaron J 05/07/2024 This is a masterpiece. Over 20 plus years went into the filming of this documentary, I watched it for the first time that I watched the movie 90s movie "kids" within the same week also for the first time. It felt like a sequel spiritually to the "kids" movie. My brother, Eli, did the special effects for this film in the intro sequence. I'm so proud of him and everybody involved in the creation of this film and telling the story of these people. Their stories are inspiring and heartbreaking at the same time. Living in the east coast for a few years, I could actually smell and feel what it was like to live in their environments and and grew up around some of the same people in this film. Still this cuts deep for me See more Eli J 04/29/2024 A deeply moving and deeply intimate portrait of its stars as well as the community at large. BTA also touches on broader topics like the immigration and housing crises, even if indirectly. There’s so much heart and life in the sincerity of the production, I’d recommend it to anyone! See more Gene K 04/28/2024 A wonderful and heart warming sequel to mind-opening and mind-blowing original. I did not expect to be as moved as I was. Endearing characters, overcoming struggles, learning to be happy. You can't help but root for these people. I hope we can revisit them in a few years. Just excellent. See more Read all reviews
