steve m The best thing about this movie is I didn't pay anything for it. It was free on TUBI. I like sci-fi. Even some of the weird and some of the stuff from the '50s and '60s. This movie had so much potential; it just did not live up to it. $5 million budget to make and did not earn half that gross. Casper van Diem must have needed a paycheck. A good premise. The flashbacks were extremely confusing. I figured out the other two astronauts in the background but thought the overall movie could have been done much better. I think the electric eels in the aquarium actually provided electricity somehow to make the spaceship work? I didn't understand at the end how the bundle of electrical wiring could be pulled down in such a mess and with a snip of one wire, the spaceship is destroyed after it breaks through the "wall" at the edge of the universe. Therefore, the renaming of the movie from ISSRA 88 to the Edge. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/23/25 Full Review Audience Member Slow burner exploring the effects of deep space travel on the mind... or not. Doesn't make the most sense and isn't the easiest movie to pay attention to. Not much of a pay-off in the end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member It made no sense. I think it was supposed to be profound, but it nothing made sense. And then it just… ended. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review michael c Yow wee. If you can make heads or tails of this one, you have a very complex brain! It is confusing, senseless, with mind boggling irrationality and it's just simply painful to watch. It deserves the one star! Nothing more. Get ready to fall asleep on this incredibly boring and comatose sci fi movie! It makes absolutely no sense at all! This is the one and only one star review that I have ever given and it deserves nothing more. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Trying to be an artistic movie. Absolute failure. Do not bother watching. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member A little difficult to follow. The beginning of the movie the soldier dies and is sent out into space. The rest of the movie may or may not have been flashbacks. Dont even know what the end was all about.
