Synopsis
A rural Serbian village is changed dramatically when young teacher and painter Reza (Annie Girardot) relocates there. First she falls for Trisa (Ivan Palúch), a married hog farmer, but their affair ends when Reza tells him she wasn't aware he already had a wife. Determined to keep Reza, Trisa murders his wife, leading his father -- fearing for his son -- to turn himself in for the crime. Reza, has already moved on to a new lover, though, further complicating the village politics.
