Who's afraid of the big bad Wolf? Not Jason Shepherd (Frankie Muniz), who has to prove that sleazy Hollywood producer Marty Wolf (Paul Giamatti) stole his class paper and turned it into a blockbuster hit movie, Big Fat Liar. "Bye, Bye Little Boy Blue... I am Back!" This movie is pure chaos and I love it. It feels like the script was thrown together in a day or two, but that's not a terrible thing. I imagine the board looked something like this: Step 1 - Kid is a liar Step 2 - Kid tells the truth and no one believes him Step 3 - Kid does whatever he can to prove he's telling the truth Step 4 - Paul Giamatti is dyed blue Step 5 - Kid becomes a successful writer in Hollywood Frankie Muniz and Amanda Bynes are adorable, Paul Giamatti is the epitome of a vindictive villain and the antics are hilarious. There are dumb moments scattered throughout, but it's the perfect movie to throw on when you don't want to veg out. Best Character: Frank Best Quote: "Eat my bloomers, blue boy!" - Crazy Old Lady Best Scene: Marty turns blue. Honorable mention: Finding the hideout Best Song: "Hungry Like the Wolf"
