Affable hit man Melvin Smiley (Mark Wahlberg) is constantly being scammed by his cutthroat colleagues in the life-ending business. Fun comedy. Mark Wahlberg is hilarious as a pussy whipped and gullible hitman that can't say no to his wife or his girlfriend. I think it was overlooked because it was one of his first movies and people still thought of him as a middling white rapper. Lou Diamond Phillips also puts in a hilarious performance .
