Poland B Best DreamWorks Short Film Ever :D Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review jacob b A major showcase for what could have been, this short film made from the remains of a cancelled American-Australian coproduction (which is the main reason 2018 marked the first time since 1999 that there were no DWA movies, though the Comcast acquisition might've also had something to do with that), Bilby is a funny, beautifully animated and even touching adventure short that gives off Ice Age vibes (in terms of the general "protect the baby and bring them back safely" premise) and shows that DreamWorks CAN still make some Pixar-quality work every once in a while, even if somebody like me feels that they've gone soft in their post-HTTYD 2 filmography. You really should fill in Pixar's recently vacated spot for short films before the movie, DreamWorks, I think it suits you.
