Roger Moore Orlando Sentinel That's the real shortcoming here. A bland leading man in a movie without much of a biographical spark to it makes for a dull sermon indeed. Rated: 2/5 Oct 8, 2008 Full Review Josh Larsen LarsenOnFilm ...a biography picture of the patronizing saint variety. Rated: 1.5/4 Oct 24, 2008 Full Review Peter T. Chattaway Christianity Today Hammer does a credible Graham impression, but if the script isn't up to snuff, none of the other stuff matters. And this particular screenplay is nowhere close to that. Marcela V I been looking for this movie few years ago. I fond it in Amazon Prime. Obviously the production is not a large budget; and the "humour" scenes was a bit weird for me: I enjoyed the movie and how People become in Christians: to decides keep on the way or go out. The Billy path is worldwide knowed; and I thank God for his life. As young man which wants find his way in God; was nice he always keep his faith. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This was not what I expected. It showed what the title promised- the early years of ministry for Billy Graham. However, I don't feel like the audience really got a clear idea of this man's life as an early evangelist and how he began to touch people. Still, it was worth seeing. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Considering the national importance of this mans ministry this film lacks the true depth and star studded cast to carry the story. The music is wimpy and lacks any true conveyance of the act upon the screen. The photography and the lighting are bland and fail to add any life to the actors, who are trying their best in an awful layout. This needs to be redone by a superior studio. Nibbles: Pancakes and Maple Syrup. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member The lead guy eventually makes a fair Billy Graham impersonation, but mainly Armie lampoons the spiritual giant. It doesn't help the script is quite lame. Ironically, the best and most reverential part was the examination of agnosticism by the supporting character. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Great story, great movie. I HIGHLY recommend watching it :-) Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Could've been way better, but it suceeds in being an entertaining biopic about Billy Graham.
