Visuals are good, but acting is a bit off. The writing is bad, protagonists make illogical choices considered their personalities, and it's a very predictable story. The viewer doesn't want to root for the main character, that's a no no for me.

A bleak view of the realities of war. Maybe it hits me harder because of my own experiences with a similar war. But nonetheless it is a movie that brings a certain grim nostalgia and somber tone to what modern war entails.
