BLACK CRAB is a Swedish action thriller set in a post-apocalyptic world torn apart by war. During a long, harsh winter, six soldiers embark on a covert mission across a frozen archipelago, risking their lives to transport a mysterious package that could end the war. As they enter hostile enemy territory, they have no idea what dangers lie ahead or who--if anyone--they can trust. But for speed skater turned soldier Caroline Edh, the mission is about something else entirely. Starring Noomi Rapace in a film directed by Adam Berg, BLACK CRAB follows six soldiers on a desperate mission to bring an end to the war which has destroyed their lives.

No one captures the cold, dark, brooding struggles of the human experience quite like a Swedish film. No one portrays the inauspicious character quite like Noomi Rapace. Don't look for a happy ending here but it's a captivating journey.

This movie was absolutely horrible from beginning to end. I typically LOVE the character who plays Edh, but this was by far the worst film I’ve ever seen her perform. I don’t even write reviews, this is my first after over 30 years of movie watching. But this film was THAT bad; it made me seek a platform to write my review. I had the worst experience watching it. It was bad from beginning to end. The actress who plays Edh needs to be more careful about the roles she accepts. Time for new management? Another role like this and she’s going to ruin her cult appreciation.
