Brando A fun movie that’s basically Superstore meets Army of Darkness. Would absolutely recommend if you’re a fan of Ash vs the Evil Dead, Stan Against Evil, Shaun of the Dead, Santa’s Slay or Return of the Living Dead. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/27/21 Full Review L S It's OK, but some massive tricks missed. Wasted opportunities and a weak narrative that just ambles make it less than campy, and more of a chore. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/01/23 Full Review Jim B I really like the zombie movies and this one was an original and fresh movie. I enjoyed it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/24/23 Full Review David W Daft as a brush and really enjoyable. Deliberately low budget looking B movie horror comedy creature feature with a nice line in sardonic wit and anti consumerism. The cast all do really well and as with anything on screen it benefits from a turn from the legend that is Bruce Campbell. Great stuff. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/15/23 Full Review Tania L No words. A real B movie, with the worst special effects and makeup. Even for comedic purpose, it was rotten. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/03/23 Full Review Jeffrey P Very little to connect with or enjoy here, a handful of okay one-liners and some decent looking special defects but that's about it. Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com An easy watch in a B-movie marathon but you'll have forgotten it by the time you're done with the Thanksgiving leftovers. Rated: 2/4 Nov 19, 2021 Full Review Lena Wilson New York Times This is exactly the kind of thing horror lovers should watch with like-minded friends as the holidays roll around (probably pre-meal, though, thanks to copious amounts of zombie puke). Nov 18, 2021 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies It’s an entertaining premise and the cast are all onboard. That’s enough to keep your attention, but not enough to stick in your memory. Rated: 2.5/5 Aug 16, 2022 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com 'a proper guilty pleasure, a zesty, energetic romp that never takes itself seriously for a moment Rated: 3/5 Feb 11, 2022 Full Review Paul Mount Starburst In the best traditions of the shopping experience, you might well be tempted to take Black Friday back and ask for a refund… Rated: 2/5 Feb 8, 2022 Full Review Allen Adams The Maine Edge Black Friday is a throwback in the best way ... funny (in a gross way) and gross (in a fun way) - a quick and breezy romp that could be ideal viewing before you head out in search of bargains on that darkest of retail days.
