Synopsis
Deep in the isolated interior of Papua New Guinea, Joe Leahy, a mixed-race descendent of the region's earliest white explorer, has transformed tribal lands into lucrative coffee plantations. Documentary filmmakers Robin Anderson and Bob Connolly shadow Leahy as he attempts to profit even more from the tribespeople by shifting their economic focus from subsistence agriculture to the harvesting of cash crops -- a reckless act that threatens to extinguish centuries-old tribal traditions.
