Rotten tomatoes are so unreliable that this film has a 100% rating. I guess all those 7 reviews are from either the film crew or they are paid. This is such a boring and pathetic movie. I don't understand what they really intend by making this film. Totally wasted my 90 minutes.

A British couple encounter a stranger who the end up inviting in for tea which sets off a series of events that will change all their lives. Story is told in kind of a faux documentary style which was odd at first until you get hooked into the story and some of the pretty decent dark comedy. It's not a bad film once you get past the first fifteen minutes or so.

The performance of Colin Hurley as the sweet but disturbed Blake is the bright spot of this movie. I wouldn't agree with the synopsis that states Tom Thompson takes pity on Blake; rather it seems that Tom and his wife are both drawn in by Blake's openness and warmth (qualities they clearly lack). But the style of the film is jarring, caught somewhere between a traditional chronological narrative film and a pseudo-documentary. While the "interviews" of the Thompsons reveal quite a bit about the characters, I would prefer to have seen this character development unfold a little more naturally.

Nothing about this guy would make me want to bring him home and surround my family with him. By the time they were playing in the pool at night together i was ready to switch off. I didn't and i put it down to the poetry that kept me watching

wow.....fantastic.....brilliant.....i have just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is such a great movie 2 watch.......its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie.....i think that chris langham, simon amstell, amanda hadingue, colin hurley, will sharpe, play good roles/parts thorughout this movie.......i think that the director of this drama/art house/international/mystery/suspense movie had done a great job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie......man this movie is just so awesomes to watch it is such a really funny movie 2 watch.....YOU HAVE GOT TO WATCH THE END OF THE CREDITS THROUGHOUT THIS MOVIE AS SOMETHING HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE CREDITS THROUGHOUT THIS MOVIE......this is such a really good movie 2 watch considering there was a lack of publicity about this movie but it is such a really funny movie 2 watch its got a great cast throughout this movie.......i think that this is such an enjoyable black comedy movie 2 watch.......its got a good soundtrack throughout this movie......it is such an enjoyable movie 2 watch its got a great cast throughout this movie......i think that simon amstell was absolutley brilliant throughout this movie..... film stars Chris Langham in his first acting role since being convicted of child pornography charges.
