Audience Member I'll give it some credit for somewhat originality. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This B-Movie Horror Film Is For Fans Of Classic Horror Only. For An Average Movie Fan May Be Better To Avoid This. This Film Takes The Basic Sub-Plot Of Jumanji And Mixes It With Teen Horror. This Is The Second Time (That I Know Of), This Jumanji Type Plot Has Been Used For A Teen Slasher, So It's Still Pretty Original. The Film Focuses On A Group Of Teenagers Who Plan To Spend A Weekend On An Isolated Island. They Find This Ancient Board Game And Arguments Occur While Answering The Questions On The Cards. However When The First Player Reaches Echo Pond On The Board, Supernatural Events Begin To Occur. This Is An Almost Original & A Great Idea For A Horror Flick And It Works We Are Presented With An Enjoyable Slasher Flick. Fans Of Classic Horror Will Love This As It's A Great Plot, Gory, Inventive Death Scenes & The Classic Horrible Acting & Script. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It looks like it's going to be a sci-fi original budget type of flick and follows through expertly. So boring but a cool game they created. Acting and dialogue are stupid and go nowhere. Like if you and your friends sat around trying to read this script out loud. Shame on you Robert Patrick. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Horrendous, amateurish, waste of time and talent. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member hooooo weee! that was bad. holy sh.t Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member An entertaining if somewhat stupid film featuring scream queen Danielle Harris, Robert Patrick, and the babysitter twins from Planet Terror, The Black Waters of Echo's Pond features nothing remotely original or scary but is an enjoyable little horror movie nonetheless Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Dennis Harvey Variety Pacing remains flat, exacerbated by bad dialogue, some subpar f/x and variable perfs. Apr 9, 2010 Full Review Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle Like Jumanji on bad acid, it's pretty much game for anything. Rated: 3/5 Apr 9, 2010 Full Review Robert Abele Los Angeles Times There's relief in this type of poorly acted claptrap's adherence to movie mathematics, since each slain character is a sign that the movie is that much closer to a credit roll. Rated: 1/5 Apr 9, 2010 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Unimaginative and surprisingly lacking in suspense and horror. Rated: 1.0/4.0 Sep 3, 2020 Full Review Pam Grady Boxoffice Magazine Derivative and about as exciting as a checkers tournament (albeit one where the inevitable chainsaw makes a blood spattering appearance), this pallid horror movie is bloody but not even remotely scary. Rated: 1.5/5 Apr 16, 2010 Full Review Andrea Chase Killer Movie Reviews the ongoing slaughter is just so much screen time that passes so dully as to qualify as audience torture worse than anything these characters suffer, and their suffering involves a chainsaw at one point Rated: 0/5 Apr 11, 2010 Full Review Read all reviews
