Ron Stallworth is the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a name for himself, Stallworth bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. The detective soon recruits a more seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman, into the undercover investigation of a lifetime. I had to check a few times if I'd been watching for over two hours as it felt so very drawn out. It had a great ensemble but no proper direction and I ended up not caring for any of the characters. I'm also surprised at the RT high scores, is it me? Am I in the wrong here? It just felt very flat as a film. Someone unusually I felt Ashlie Atkinson put in the best performance.
