Grizzled cowboy Ray (Bill Cody) foils a rustling ring, but one of the bad guys, Max (Gordon Griffith), gets away and plots his return by targeting the ranch of the fetching Virginia (Gertrude Messigner), who lives alone with her elderly father. Soon after Max strikes, Ray coincidentally shows up and is mistaken for the rustler. After clearing his name, Ray concocts an ingenious plan to lure Max out of hiding, and gets to spend some quality time with Virginia in the process.
