Audience Member I absolutely love this movie. It has a solid cast, a clever conceit, and a lot of comedy, both intentional and unintentional. Who doesn't love to see a home run battle between St. Louis 70 HR-hitting first baseman Mike McGuinn and Chicago MVP-caliber outfielder Manny Losa? It's a wonderful movie about a group of people sitting in the bleachers at "Wrigley Field" while discussing life and baseball. I watch it before the start of every baseball season and whenever I'm feeling nostalgic. ¡Arriba! ¡Abajo! ¡Al centro! .... y pa'dentro! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Started promising - watching the sounds of the game from a deaf fan's perspective. Then, crash. At minute 48, I stopped the disc after suffering through a horribly acted scene with a hysterical woman. Turning off a baseball movie is hard, but this just couldn't stay in my t.v. one second longer. Yeesh. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Scott W kinda a fun little play... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/29/14 Full Review Audience Member A tv sports-movie. Not a great film, but I was mildly entertained. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Dreadful! I have learned that this was a made for television movie, which explains a few things but still doesn't excuse the poor quality. It takes place at a baseball field, but is far from a true baseball movie. The focus is more on the fans and their personal problems. It ended up being very dull. (First and only viewing - In my early twenties) Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Really bad special effects.
