Audience Member I loved this movie growing up, It still has a special place in my heart Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member The actual story is a man embracing his spiral into darkness and shedding off morality. The film didn't end on a very logical conclusion. The island town just returned to a "Life goes on as usual" as opposed to full evacuation and military eradication of the creatures. The creature effects were all practical, so even though the story wasn't the best, the visuals can still stand the test of time. I would put this one on the shelf next to "The Hills Have Eyes". This one has been panned by the few souls to come across it, but I have to defend the movie. It really was pretty interesting and very twisted. I certainly think it's worth the watch for the right type of viewer. However you MUST be a fan of B horror.
