Kristin Lehman
A Canadian actress who worked steadily on both sides of the border, Kristin Lehman cut her teeth in sci-fi/fantasy projects, including "Poltergeist: The Legacy" (Showtime, 1996-99) and a Gemini-nominated turn on "Andromeda" (Global, 2000-05). Mainstream American audiences took note of her after a long-running turn as Dr. Lily Reddicker on "Judging Amy" (CBS, 1999-2005) as well as for her appearances in the Benicio Del Toro thriller "The Way of the Gun" (2000), the Vin Diesel sci-fi action flick "The Chronicles of Riddick" (2004), and the Michael Douglas thriller "The Sentinel" (2006). She also starred in a string of short-lived TV series, including the gambling drama "Tilt" (ESPN, 2005), the crime procedural "Killer Instinct" (Fox, 2005) and the racing action series "Drive" (Fox, 2007). Lehman's profile received an enormous boost when she landed a juicy supporting role on the American adaptation of the Danish murder mystery "The Killing" (AMC 2011-13; Netflix, 2014) as Gwen Eaton, the lover and campaign advisor of an aspiring politico (Billy Campbell). Although she may not have achieved household name status outside of her native Canada, Kristin Lehman enjoyed a lengthy and varied career on both television and in film, giving hope to many fans and critics that she would achieve a true international breakthrough.
