Audience Member This is an exceptional comedy-musical that I wish more people knew about. Penny Singleton, who played Blondie, was definitely a talented singer and dancer, and she most certainly proves it conclusively here. Wonderful fun. Penny Singleton, who played Blondie, was definitely a talented singer and dancer, and she most certainly proves it conclusively here. Wonderful fun. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Highly enjoyable, one of the best of the series...and a musical, to boot. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review bill t Of all the genres that the Blondie series delved into (they went Horror and suspense and Film Noir) I NEVER thought they would bust a move and do a musical. The plot works, and so do Arthur Lake (who knew he was so good of a drummer?!?) and Penny Singleton (who knew she could sing?) Heck, even Baby Dumpling with scare girl friend (and even scarier looking doll) get into the act. Everyone looks to be having a fucking ball doing this, and really, it's hard not to be swept away in this. One of the best in the series! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member VERY FUNNY BLONDIE SERIES MOVIE, PENNY SINGLETON IS HILARIOUS, AS IS ARTHUR LAKE. ONE OF THE BETTER ENTRIES. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Blondie, Latin? Penny Singleton is given the chance to show her talents again, as she did in her early career, a hoofer and a singer, damn she was good at it, she had so much talent, and this is her best flix with Dagwood.
