Audience Member One of the best movies about pro-wrestling. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Vaguely remember it from back in the day. Seemed a fairly accurate representation of the days of Stampede Wrestling of the era. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Ive been watching these little known wrestling movies from the 70s lately (watching Below the Belt last week) and they have a little bit of difficulty matching the magic that is created in the squared circle. This actually would make a good companion w/ The Wrestler because it is partly about a wrestler who is working past his prime & suffers heart problems. William Smith carries Blood & Guts unfortunately he is saddled bagged w/ a bad gimmick & a weak script. The other part of this is the new comer Brian Clarke to the wrestling world & it is funny when he goes through a slue of gimmicks until he settles on Jungle Boy. Pretty lame but it's not like Vince McMahon was creative consultant. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
