Anyone who has tried to make a feature knows how hard it is to carry a film all the way to the end, especially when life is working against you. The fact that this film exists matters. The production value is steady and often strong, and the story came together for me in a way that felt earned. The final scene, in particular, really moved me and stayed with me after the film ended. First features are never perfect, and they are not supposed to be. What stood out most here was the resolve behind it. This feels like a film that was made because it had to be made.
