Audience Member A finely wrapped, cleverly masked b-movie where not much happens beyond flashbacks, hallucinations, dialogue...and I think someone farted at one point. I found it in the horror section and I was expecting some sort of twist related to the title but there wasn't... and that made me somewhat mad at it but not made enough to give it an even lower rating Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty awesome. Not sure why critics didnt like it. Some of the acting was over the top by the brother and the lawyer/doctor friend but other than that the story was great. Wish they would of explained the mom more but thats okay. Great twist in the story at the end. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't believe the high %age or positive reviews for this "horror". It's not scary and it's extremely underwhelming. The acting is not good and it's hard to believe in the characters or their motivations. The storyline is unique but too boring to drum up any excitement or tension. Overall this is a bad movie that I don't recommend for true horror fans. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Great cast, decent plot twists, but the story itself felt dull. Ending seemed forced and rushed. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Well, this was not what I expected. It's a REALLY good movie!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Despite the title this is NOT a horror movie. I mea is is SOOOOOO much better. It's smart you know? The acting is superb and the shots are well bloody beautiful:) Full recommend this one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Dave McGinn Globe and Mail While there are moments of intrigue and a good twist, the whole thing feels as if it's a B-movie horror that wants to be so much more. Rated: 1.5/4 Sep 1, 2017 Full Review Bruce DeMara Toronto Star Director Jeff Kopas has talent and a decent eye for imbuing scenes with subtle menace but, as co-writer of the screenplay, he also shares some responsibility for a story that doesn't quite hang together. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 31, 2017 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed What wins the audience over here are the performances, the beautiful images, and the family drama which feels real. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 17, 2020 Full Review Matt Donato Dread Central Blood Honey will leave you craving something worthwhile when it never delivers on its decadently gruesome promise. Rated: 2/5 May 24, 2019 Full Review Carolyn Mauricette Cinema Axis Blood Honey is the type of eerie, atmospheric thriller that will keep you thinking after the end credits roll. May 16, 2019 Full Review Matthew Passantino Film Threat The film didn't need a gimmicky button to close things out, it needed a compelling story to start with.
