Audience Member If you've ever been to a roller derby in the Seattle area, this documentary is a real treat. It chronicles the formation of the Rat City Roller Girls, Seattle's local roller derby league, from its inception through its first burgeoning stages as a cult phenomenon. The film interviews the girls who started the league, as well as some of the stars who pour their hearts into the sport. I've gone to a few derbies, think they're a blast, and feel this flick does an admirable job of capturing the sport's delicious kitschiness.
