Scott Weinberg eFilmCritic.com Rare is the film that fails so resoundingly in two separate genres at the exact same time. Rated: 1/5 Aug 8, 2002 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Movie House Masscare runs only about 74 minutes, but if you can make it through the whole thing, I honestly think you deserve a medal of some sort. Maybe an Olympic one or perhaps a Purple Heart. As bad as the horror stuff is, the flick gets extra painful when it tries to be funny. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Movie House Massacre is an excellent example of a great working title, a novel concept turned into a bad movie. You would figure that something w/ Mary Woronov in it would be @ least watchable but even @ a brisk running time you'll find very little that doesn't make you hate yourself for wasting a fraction of your life. It just does so much wrong like having a good fake trailer concept in Clown Whores Of Hollywood & then botch the shit out of it. So cheaply bad in so many aspects that it almost reeks of Troma or even Corman but to say this movie in the same breath does both production companies disservice Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member It appears to be tongue in cheek from time to time, but mostly it's just terrible. Mary Woronov's involvement was what caught my attention, and she's okay in her role, but there's just not a lot for anyone to work with here. Pass, unless you're just a glutton for punishment. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Terrible - but what did you expect from a film titled 'Blood Theater'? This is the kind of movie you watch because you know it will be absolutely awful - and yet, also hilarious. And it is. Blood Theater boasts no discernible plot, zero suspense, an abysmal script and pathetic acting. But who cares? It offers that breed of entertainment that can only be found in the most terrible of retrotrash garbage. Bottom line: if you like bad horror movies, you'll enjoy Blood Theater. If not, then you'll have completely wasted 75 minutes of your life on a movie with absolutely no societal value whatsoever. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Undiluted cheddarrific slasher absurdity featuring an adequately off-kilter cast of character actors, headlined by the always marvelous Mary Woronov. Without a doubt, Movie House Massacre is a terrible film from every possible angle, but more enterprising gluttons for cinematic sleaze will revel in its countless incompetencies and campy histrionics. Two stars for the lo-fi campy synth score alone! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
