What to Know

Critics Consensus

Bloodsucking Bastards gets a few gallons of B-movie fun out of its sanguine humor and solid cast, even if it isn't quite as wild as its title might suggest.

Hardly state-of-the-art but offers enough bro banter to amuse, especially in the hands of this unexceptional but likable cast. Go to Full Review

I'm forgiving of DIY productions that work without much of a bottom line, but there are some basic film techniques that still need to be considered, and don't cost a dime. Go to Full Review

Bloodsucking Bastard is not a bad movie, but it's not the best horror-comedy either. It's fun and enjoyable, but not particularly memorable. Go to Full Review

There's a very fine line to this type of comedy, and Bloodsucking Bastards falls over on the side of hitting the same slack-is-hip note too many times. Go to Full Review

The movie is full of rapid-fire jokes and asides, delivered with complete nonchalance, and the humor is wonderfully on-target and unforced. Go to Full Review

David C Sep 10 They say some movies are so bad they are good.... this is not one of them. A lacklustre script, wooden acting and mediocre at best special effects make this only effective as an intentional tax loss for investors. I suppose however you could credit it as a vampire movie as by the end you have had the life sucked out of you. One to recommend to someone you dislike. See more Ryan C. @djrmc24 Jul 8 This film reminded me a lot of Shaun of the Dead with it's comedic tone mixed in with violence and horror theme. What I really wished was this movie didn't play it so safe though. There were moments where I was really laughing out loud and other moments where I was scratching my head. The movie's premise is a simple one where Vampires invade an office space and you can figure out the rest. I was entertained throughout but it was forgettable in the end. Pedro Pascal chews up every scene he is in and you can tell he is having fun. This film forfilled it’s purpose and gets a 2 1/2 star rating out of 5 See more Dahlia N May 26 A fun, schlocky gore fest with Pedro Pascal as a vampire. The effects are extremely well done and the story is easy to follow. A great little popcorn flick to enjoy. See more 05/26/2022 The movie was fun. Pedro Pascal did it so well.
