When a heist goes wrong, thief Miles (Martin Lawrence) hides a diamond at a construction site before he's arrested. After serving two years, Miles returns to the location of his treasure and finds it is now a police station. Once again critics on Rotten Tomatoes lack the understanding of what a comedy is supposed.to be. But this film here is one of the best films of this genre. It's.fun and memorable.

This film was okay. Martin Lawrence tries his best to make the film work with his comedic timing and energy, which is mostly good, but others in the film let him down. The supporting cast feels uninspiring and forgettable. The plot of the film is predictable and stereotypical, making it difficult for the movie to stand out and be memorable within its genre. Despite this, it is still an enjoyable film for a random night's watch. Perhaps the film could have been more interesting if it had been played more seriously. At the end of the day, it is just a fun '90s comedy film that could have been better.

This Film is categorically a special of its time, the actors their dialogue and even the music are all a comedic reflection of the old world and it's war on crime. Blue streak is a hilarious enjoyable film following Martin Laurence through an almost "Catch me if you Can" scenario! Never gets old timeless classic.
