It was an awesome movie and I especially like the fact that it was not dubbed (I can read subtitles just fine Amazon!) It was just overall a high quality family friendly movie - something we may have forgotten how to make in the west. Wife made me watch it and I'm glad we did.

This movie makes you laugh and cry interchangeably, drawing vividly the conflicts, the clashes between the older generation and the young modern generation in a traditional Vietnamese family, reflecting the whole society as it progresses. Through all the pain and the chaos, a new balance begins.

This is the best Vietnamese I've ever watched. Most of the time the movies are a slow pace and picks up slowly,but this movie just kept you hooked from the beginning till the end. It was an emotional roller coaster. When you laugh you laugh real hard,but when it's sad you cry like crazy. All the actors were amazing. The casting of the actors and actresses just fitted the characters they played.
