Ben Kenigsberg Variety A real-life logger plays some version of himself in this immersive verite-style drama. Feb 6, 2015 Full Review Katie Walsh The Playlist The story of the making of "Bob and the Trees" is probably the most interesting thing about the film itself, and without that context, it might not draw too much attention. Rated: B Jan 28, 2015 Full Review Giovanni Marchini Camia The Film Stage An awkward hybrid that is both too scripted to convince as a genuine slice of life and too muted to keep the viewer involved for its full running time. Rated: B- Feb 22, 2016 Full Review Travis Hopson Examiner.com While this could be seen as just another slow-moving indie "slice of life" drama, it plays with our expectations in fun and unpredictable ways. Audience Member Charming character, this is a film about one of the character we meet that in a quiet way leave a ever lasting impression on us. We need more films about these times and less superheroes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member An Indie film about a logger who has trouble with termites, attacks on his livestock, and other minutia. I didn't make it through. You have to wonder sometime why certain movies are made at all. The story and characters were noting of striking originality or insight. Everyone has problems at work, some more, some less, but so what? I didn't bother too much with this one, skipping forward a lot to gain back valuable viewing time that was happily spent elsewhere. Nothing to see here folks. Move along. Move along. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie yet again proves that everybody can play at least one role: themselves. The question is how to make it worth watching. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
