Audience Member Silly, campy, but watchable. Despite the endless reaction shots to grainy stock footage of wild animals. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/26/24 Full Review Audience Member Johnny Sheffield, who played "Boy" in the Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan films, got to play a teenage version of Tarzan himself in this, the first of the Bomba films. Much like the later Tarzan film, this film is also a rather cheaply and poorly made film. A photographer and his teenage daughter visit the African jungles and discover Bomba, the jungle boy, who helps the daughter when she gets lost in the jungle and the two face many trials.
