Audience Member Didnt get close to rise of the footsoldier and basically just told the same story Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a tale of Essex lowlife psychopathic, homicidal, vermin creatures and the way they conduct their sordid little pathetic lives. The main problem with these drug-dealing coints is they haven't got two brain cells to rub together and end up in all sorts of trouble. Although it's nice to see how sub-humans live it shows there is no future in mankind if these vile creatures exist on planet earth. They nee to be exterminated. But to be able to raise emotions from a reviewer such as these shows it it pretty good film-making. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This is truly awful. It is a comic masterpiece, though. It is basically the same film as the second half of Rise of the Footsoldier. Hassan is in the Fairbrass role and Stone plays the same character but sadly, drops the wig. So many funny moments. The highlight for me is Hassan crashing the Porsche. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member The funny thing about 'true crime' is that this particular story has now been featured in 3 films (including this one) and each one varies. Each version has different sub stories and it's obvious that not all will be revealed. First there was THE ESSEX BOYS, then RISE OF THE FOOT SOLDIER and now this one. The film itself is probably the least watchable out of the three and whilst this is not a Nick Love film, it could pass as one - what no Danny Dyer? Don't worry we have just as typecast an Actor; Tamer Hassan. It's watchable, it's what says on the tin! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one of the other 4 films on the Range Rover Murders. I did prefer this one to Essex Boys. Tamer Hassan is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors from across the pond. I would recommend this film. Charles Gant Variety Willfully exploitative... Sep 3, 2010 Full Review Xan Brooks Guardian A pungent mess of gangster cliche. Rated: 2/5 Sep 2, 2010 Full Review David Gritten Daily Telegraph (UK) A thin, wan script, acting that's mostly embarrassing, and a stream of foul expletives where a script should be. Rated: 1/5 Sep 2, 2010 Full Review James Plath Movie Metropolis Worth watching, but the whole just isn't nearly as effective as some of the parts. Rated: 6/10 Jan 8, 2011 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Based on the same true story previously told on film with skill (2000's Essex Boys) and without (2007's Rise of the Footsoldier), it's kind of difficult to understand why there's yet another movie version. Especially one as uninteresting as this. Rated: 2/5 Sep 9, 2010 Full Review Emma Dibdin Total Film Everything from script to performances goes through the motions, with only Vincent Regan's Mickey registering in more than one dimension.
