Felina This movie had a lot of potential to be a really great movie. I liked to idea and concept of, if you don't follow through, your past will haunt you. My problems with this movie though are, there is very little to almost no character development and you're left with so many questions at the end. It started to get better and kind of make sense towards the end until all of a sudden it didn't. I exact words at the end were, "Wait, what?" Again, I really liked the concept. I feel like they should remake this movie and this time build up the characters more and their background and explain the curse and the curse's history more. This movie could be great and I wish I could love it... but, alas, they really fell short on this one. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/22/23 Full Review Deon'Jha Weak acting. Didn't make since. I think they just wanted to drag the movie to make it over an hour. The little boy was the problem the whole time. The mom says to the daughter go upstairs gather some things and get my purse. They go up stairs and the girl calls her boyfriend and the brother calls the haunted. Stupid trash movie Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/16/23 Full Review julie s My husband and I watched this movie. It was a good B movie lots of jumps and corny quotes. No real plot. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Mark S This film was both a typical and non-typical "mild" horror movie, to me (my quotes). The concept and storyline were intriguing, but the acting was a big disappointment, all except the main female lead character, Morgan. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/22 Full Review Audience Member I will most definitely agree that at the beginning you think the kids are foster kids or adopted. Then when you realize the couple is married and that is their children it is way more than dysfunctional. The dad wants to believe only in the Bible, the mom apparently likes to smoke and drink and don't want to be at home, daughter is a rebel and son is in tune with the weird crap and no one believes him till its almost to the end of the movie. This movie got really good towards the very end which is sad. It had some parts that could of been left out and started the scarey much sooner. **SLIGHT SPOILER** I would like to know why their son has a bed on the floor, when his sister or they don't and when they go to check on him, they never question the wallpaper of weird drawings of death when the walls and floor is littered with these drawings. Is that normal? lol. The end was abrupt and made it look like a Part 2 would happen. I sure hope not. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/07/20 Full Review Audience Member Interesting presume. For me, it falters as I didn’t believe the four main characters as a family unit. Too many false notes in their actions and responses to action early on, made it difficult to root for their survival when all hell breaks loose near the end. Their sudden family bond in crisis seemed drastically out of character as no love or family connection was displayed by any of them early on. The first several minutes almost seemed that the kids were foster children and everyone were acting and responding as if this was their first time getting to know each other. When it’s clear that Therese teenage kids have been with them since birth their dynamics playing off one another appear more awkward and false. Other than That, there are some clever scares and creepy scenes. There is a very good movie in there that could have been far more effective with creating a stronger family dynamic in beginning. An audience needs people to root for in a horror movie. If making the leads all do mean things or rude to one another and unlikeable, there is nobody to root for to be final girl or boy. That said, it’s watchable and definitely not boring. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/15/20 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Feb 11, 2020 Full Review Anya Stanley Dread Central The scares themselves are well-executed but the plot is saturated in dread, which is where the real craft shines through. A worthy watch.
