Audience Member Such a sweet film that also deals with heavy subject material such as poverty, dropping out of school to take care of family, and mental illness while still maintaining a lighthearted feel. Very very cute. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I love this movie! <3(: Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member While its screenplay is probably the most inept, tone-deaf, overly Canadian piece of crap of any movie I've ever seen, the premise and characters are delightful and cute. I'm torn, eh? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Twee but affable TV movie set in depression-era Canada. Lightweight and unremarkable yet unoffensive viewing - ideal for a midweek afternoon! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A girls movie, although a reasonable watch and quick enough to tolerate. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Frum! Certitude! Brighter and more peppy, with every individual character getting ample development compared to Booky and the Secret Santa. 'I learned that Manitoba's purple!'
