Richard Roeper Ebert & Roeper An unforgettable if sometimes heavy-handed film. Feb 19, 2008 Full Review Prairie Miller NewsBlaze Jennifer Lopez plays it tough and down and dirty, on the Mexican border. Oct 25, 2007 Full Review Brian Webster Apollo Guide The biggest weakness of Bordertown is its heavy-handed over-simplification of complex political and economic issues. That and Jennifer Lopez's massive ego. Rated: 61/100 Sep 5, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews

Alexandria R A very amazing movie of true events with the best actors they could've chosen. A real tear dropper but not without a sense of relief at the end. I hate it when you watch a movie and it's so predictable but this movie had roller coasters. The plot line was amazing and very realistic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic! I was in suspense for the whole movie and really loved it. JL was in her glory. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Good film Great movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/10/21 Full Review Audience Member My opinion. Boring. 👎👎👎 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I wonder why this movie went straight to DVD in the United States. Many reviews on here criticize J. Lo and the oversimplification of the story, but this is indeed a movie worth watching; it's a story based on real events. Regardless of J. Lo's ego and the lack of detail, there was a story here and an unpopular one at that. I thought the movie was excellent and J. Lo has come a long way in her acting. It's clear she was passionate about the film and story probably because she is of latin descent and a woman. If these critics can't see that, maybe their egos are too big 🤷🏽‍♀️. Anyways worth watching and worth thinking about. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Good story line, not so good screenplay. The stellar cast carries the weak presentation of the plot and the movie drags because of it. Forgettable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
