A biker gang incites a reign of terror in a California coastal town that culminates in four teenage girls being raped. Vietnam veteran Billy Jack (Tom Laughlin) has had enough, however, and takes on the depraved bikers single-handedly. He rescues young Vicky Barrington (Elizabeth James) from their clutches, but then has to contend with not only the thugs, but also the ineffectual and racist local lawmen, who have it out for the half-Native American Billy.

Audience Member Loved this movie when I Was 11. Still love it, I'm 65. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member The Born Losers is so amazing! Billy Jack fights against a horrible motorcycle gang and eventually wins!! :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review delysid d slow movie story about badass bikers. the ending sucked Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/09/17 Full Review Audience Member Pretty cool little lone wolf avenger flick. Tom Laughlin is charming as the brave, defiant bad ass who stands up to a group of thugs to protect girls being raped. The ending has more balls than usual for these types of movies. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member A cult drive-in classic Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Before Tom Laughlin hit is big with "Billy Jack" that same character had already made an appearance in this film, "The Born Losers." Though Laughlin lacks his trademark straight brim hat, he's still a wandering stranger who's happy to help others seek violent justice. This film lack the irony of "Billy Jack" where he helps a commune of pacifists with bloody violence, which added to that films entertainment value, but it does a good job of making a nasty biker gang quite despicable, which makes Billy Jack's brutal justice all the more satisfying. Jane Russell plays the mother of one of the biker gang's victims and you also get the underrated exploitation actor/director Jack Starrett as Deputy Fred. "Sense and Sensibility" this film is not, but if you are if you're a fan of grindhouse cinema, this one is essential viewing. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
