Mike (Sean Astin) is a jaded editor who writes for a romance magazine. Angelina (Emily Hampshire) is a helpless romantic who's traveled to Canada from Italy to marry a man she doesn't love. When Mike's neighbor, an oddball poet (Joe Mantegna), writes a lyric that falls into Angelina's hands, she assumes that it comes from Mike. Audience Member This movie is a little on the quirky side but that is a good thing because it is refreshing. This movie reminded me of the 1950's romantic comedies. Sean Astin was very good in this film as well as Emily Hampshire who plays his love interest. The supporting cast in this film was amazing. This movie was very enjoyable and entertaining. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Too artsy for its own good. Joe Mantegna's kind of annoyed me too. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A bit cute but pretty confusing and I couldn't finish it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member really bad writing and acting! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Cheesey, but cute. Plus it's Sean Astin. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Holy boring piece of crap! Went to TIFF to see this for Kevin McDonald, and granted he's funny, he's funny in everything, this is one turd of a film. A modern romantic fairy tale, that description alone should have had me running in pure terror. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
