Great start, dragged for a while depending on how you feel about the cast of Irish characters and then had a decent enough ending. The general pacing was a bit too slow for my tastes but it had it's moments. A luke warm recommendation but a welcome change of style for a genre horror movie. Not sure why it's billed as a comedy though as its not particularly funny.

When a highway is declared to be constructed thru some farmlands, the workers inadvertently release an ages old vampire whose legend inspired Stoker. A delightful hoot that twists some vampire lore in interesting ways. Love the opening. Love me some dark humor. Recommended

They call it a "vampire horror-comedy" but it's more accurate to describe it as a "vampire horror whilst Irish people act Irish about it". Good story with likeable characters. I enjoyed it!

The film offers a fresh take on the look but also (and this is the most refreshing) on the "modus operandi" of the vampire. But mostly it offers and adorable set of characters, totally unexpected in a genre movie. Good fun.
