Audience Member Brain Twisters R (killing and tobacco) - action and crime Sciencefiction Serial killer Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/28/24 Full Review Audience Member Not even so bad it's good. Just CRAP! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member A fun if stupid 90s sci-fi/horror film, Brain Twisters explores the possible horrors of computer technology in a way that is quaint today but rather common for the period. Those who enjoy horror films from this era will enjoy it--everyone else should probably avoid it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member "I'll be right there! MOTHER!-Jason (Jonathan Lomma) Great ending to horrible movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Mad scientist thriller putters along at a snail's pace. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Brain Twisters has a much more intriguing title than the film itself, which is not very much at all really. I didn't recognize any of the actors and I have the sneaking suspicion that it's a Canadian production. A lot of these films are. It's a pretty mundane and boring tale about a college professor/scientist doing experiments on his students, but the twist is that he doesn't know that it's bad. Anyways, a cop gets involved, bad things happen, etc. I was bored through most of the movie, although I was kind of impressed with the sound work. It's not amazing or anything, but for a movie about sounds and video affecting people, is was pretty well done. I can't say I'd recommend the movie though. It's not very good.
