Audience Member Excellent movie despite being extremely low-budget Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Right off the bat a disclaimer: despite an imperfect rating EVERYONE should see this film. The historical, political, and social issues it addresses are too important to be ignored: primarily the issue of how easy it is for a govassassination ernment to spin an incident into propaganda for its own agenda. That said, the film is really enjoyable. Story is told from a perspective of a young, aspiring, idealistic attorney who happens to be assigned the defence of some of the members of Mlada Bosna, a group that planned and executed the assassination of Prince Franz Ferdinand and his wife and sparked WWI. Considering the point of view, the story is a compassionate retelling of the court process and plight of the accused. As such the story is emotional and performances are very good across the board. Technically, the film could have been better. Make up, costume, sound all could have been executed much better. Director has done a decent job, but bit award winning by any stretch, and the film feels longer then it's run time(and it is a long run time). Imperfect film, but a really good story from a very interesting viewpoint. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
