BRAZEN HUSSIES shows us how a daring and diverse group of women joined forces to defy the status quo, demand equality and create profound social change - contributing to one of the greatest social movements of the 20th Century. The film interweaves freshly uncovered archival footage, personal photographs, memorabilia and lively accounts from the bold women who reignited the feminist movement in Australia, at times at great personal cost.

Audience Member Everyone should see this movie. Compelling, emotional and energising documentary about women in cultural context of 1950-1970's Australia. I took my daughter to see it and she laughed out loud at some of the moments. As a child of the 1970s, it was fascinating to watch through the filter of my young memories of the same events. Go take a friend to see it. I loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
