Audience Member This documentary is for the band Slint, a cult post-rock/math rock/post-hardcore band. Their album "Spiderland" is incredible and tragically underrated. This documentary helped me realize that these guys are a group of crass teenagers just making music and experimenting. They're similar to my group of friends and really show that anybody can get together and make something truly spectacular. They didn't get huge and didn't even stay together, seeing the release of the album. But, they had a brief moment in time where they left a great mark on music. They inspire me to continue my plans to write music and release an album. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review harrison r exactly as boring and unnecessary as every other movie about a band that just made music and didn't do any other art. kinda cool to see the guys' personalities tho. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent lo-fi doco. Whether or not you're a Slint fan, this is a compelling insight into the drivers behind creativity.
