Tim Z Really enjoyed this film, growing up in Detroit it was cool to see a lot of spots in the city skyline shown. Weiss and Bruner had really good chemistry, Rasuk and Kober always deliver solid experiences. Good indi flick! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/05/25 Full Review michael b I am from metro Detroit, where this movie was based and shot, and I absolutely loved this film. Weiss was exceptional in his role, and found myself cheering him on more and more as the movie went on and the plot thickened! Weiss and the producers did a great job representing the city of Detroit, and look forward to seeing more films Weiss is featured in. He’s got a fan in me, and I believe he has the “it” to be a Hollywood star ⭐️ !! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/31/25 Full Review Emerson M Break was captivating from start to finish. The casting and growth of the characters as the movie progresses is something special. Weiss seems like a natural in this leading role, I am surprised I haven't seen more of him yet. A great film that is most definitely an even better watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/03/25 Full Review Winston U Enjoyed every minute. Chemistry between actors was fantastic. Darren Weiss is a star. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/03/25 Full Review Maxwell S Darren Weiss as Eli feels so natural that it doesn’t seem like a performance at all, it’s like the role was written for him. The way he carries Eli’s struggles and hopes makes the story hit even harder. The film’s take on the pool scene feels raw and believable, pulling you right into Eli’s world without any gimmicks. What I loved most is how much heart the movie has. It’s not just about playing pool, it’s about trying to live up to family, pushing past setbacks, and going after your shot no matter how tough things get. Honestly, Darren’s performance makes the whole film unforgettable. Break feels destined to be a classic that people will talk about for a long time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/29/25 Full Review Jason B One of the best independent films I've seen in years. The character development and cinematography were inspiring and at times jaw dropping. A must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/18/25 Full Review Read all reviews
