Maxwell S Darren Weiss as Eli feels so natural that it doesn’t seem like a performance at all, it’s like the role was written for him. The way he carries Eli’s struggles and hopes makes the story hit even harder. The film’s take on the pool scene feels raw and believable, pulling you right into Eli’s world without any gimmicks. What I loved most is how much heart the movie has. It’s not just about playing pool, it’s about trying to live up to family, pushing past setbacks, and going after your shot no matter how tough things get. Honestly, Darren’s performance makes the whole film unforgettable. Break feels destined to be a classic that people will talk about for a long time.
