Audience Member Pretty sweet dramatic comedy about a drama teacher trying to make the interns of a prison to play theater together. Great acting for the most part. Swedish moviemaking is generally suffering from a tradition of using the same themes over and over and on top of that we are stuck with directorial styles that aren't quite modern enough. We have the occational exception, Johan Klings Darling and this years Let the right one in being the first to come to mind, but over all when you see a film made in Sweden you know excactly what you are gonna get. But there is an upside to this predictability. Whenever someone take the familiar elements and give it a touch of something different, in this case a Full Monty atmosphere and also manage to get the top of the swedish acting-elite, great things can happen. This film is not revolutionary, and it's no where near realistic, but that's not the point. It's a trip, a heartwarming, laugh a little and smile on the inside a lot trip, pulling a little at your sad strings and giving your happy strings more than enough fuel to outlast any battle with logic.
