Kenny Moore's C Clearly adapted from a stage play. Outdated story line with only the Doreen character really being explored. Enjoyed the film but do think it was an opportunity missed, Could have been so much better with such a good cast Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/02/23 Full Review Katherine K I had great expectations for this film with a good cast of character actors including Lesley Dunlop & Phil Davis. I'm sad to say that it failed to deliver on enjoyment & was a huge disappointment. The storyline & script was unengaging & the characterisations were stilted and hugely clichéd. The production & direction felt like an amateur student film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review carlton b Even the talented Lesley Sharp can't save this dreadfully directed adaptation of the Stephen Berkoff play of the same name. Stephen Cookson has managed to drag the most mediocre performances out of some otherwise okay actors. The way that it's been shot you could almost imagine you're sitting in on some early amateur theatre rehearsals. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Phil Hoad Guardian This grotesquerie is undeniably a great British tradition - but it's hard to know who would revel in these caricatures today. Rated: 2/5 Jun 2, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
