Not gonna lie, the acting was decent, and the whole 1940s vibe? Pretty cool. The plot had some interesting backstory, especially how it touched on the war and, like, the whole "necessary evils" thing. It wasn't, like, mind-blowing or anything, but it definitely got the job done. I'd say it's a solid watch, you know? Not something I'd rush to see again, but if it was on, I wouldn't turn it off. Yeah, good enough. Extremely digestible. Supernatural elements prevent them from leaving until they are willing to satisfy the requirements for leaving. This is much like a play. It could certainly be one. Except for the front steps, we never leave the apartment that contains the characters throughout most of the runtime. Well acted all around but Fessenden and Anne Ramsey (as a former interrogator) really impress. Those looking for traditional horror may not be pleased. This is an emotional and psychological film dealing with combat trauma. The excuse for not leaving the room makes no sense. and after 30 minutes it's not a story about real people it's a farcical exercise.
