Scarlett Z Brother Bear 2 is a heartfelt continuation of the beloved original that beautifully expands on the journey of Kenai and Koda. The movie captures the same sense of adventure and emotional depth that made the first film so memorable, but with a fresh new dynamic as Kenai’s relationship with Nita unfolds. The themes of love, responsibility, and self-discovery are ever-present, and they continue to resonate with viewers of all ages. At first, Nita seemed a bit annoying. Her arrival into the story, with her own mission and emotional struggles, didn’t immediately make her a likable character. I found myself frustrated with her at times, especially as she seemed to complicate things for Kenai and Koda. However, by the end of the movie, I found myself really appreciating her growth. Nita becomes more relatable as her motivations and feelings come into focus, and I ended up liking her a lot more once I saw her vulnerability and determination to do the right thing. It’s one of those characters who requires time to fully warm up to, and her development is satisfying. Another surprising element was discovering that Nita and Rapunzel share the same voice actress. I hadn’t realized this when I first watched Brother Bear 2, and it blew my mind once I found out. The transformation from Rapunzel’s optimistic, bright personality to Nita’s more conflicted, serious character is impressive. It’s one of those subtle details that adds even more to the richness of the voice acting in this film. The animation in Brother Bear 2 is just as beautiful as the first movie, with lush forests, snowy mountains, and stunning landscapes that make you feel immersed in the world. The soundtrack is equally memorable, with songs that reflect the emotional core of the story. “Welcome to This Day,” sung by Melissa Etheridge, is a perfect fit for this sequel, capturing the essence of new beginnings and the passage of time. Overall, Brother Bear 2 is a fantastic sequel that manages to stand on its own while honoring the legacy of the first film. The journey of Kenai and Nita is one that takes the characters—and the audience—through a deep emotional arc that’s both satisfying and touching. It’s a movie that explores themes of forgiveness, growth, and finding your place in the world, while continuing to showcase the strong bond between the characters and nature. 5 out of 5 stars for this heartfelt and memorable adventure. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/10/24 Full Review Jordyn E It's not a bad movie but when you look at it as a sequel it's not as good. I think the main problem is the change of voice actors, but i just couldn't get behind it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/12/24 Full Review Reviewer M Surprisingly GREAT!! Heartwarming and sophisticated story. The animation quality isn’t up to par with the original, but I imagine the budget on the sequels aren’t as high as the original. I highly recommend this movie, my kids absolutely LOVE IT! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/09/24 Full Review Adrian E Where's Denahi?! Why is he not in this movie after the first one?! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Nathan B Thats alot of racoons, where's my cape Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/06/24 Full Review Holly S não superou o primeiro, mas foi legal Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
