      Critics Consensus

Brotherhood's fast-paced look at a fraternity pledge gone nightmarishly wrong has a kinetic pull that isn't always strong enough to overcome a hollow narrative.

dan b I liked it, had to use some imagination but I thought it was a good movie Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review kevin c A fraternity hazing goes horribly wrong as pledges are taken to convenience stores and ordered to go in and rob them at gunpoint. This is a pretty tight eighty minutes that doesn't waste time getting started and throwing the viewer in the van with the rest of the pledges not knowing what is in store. Pretty good story with decent performances from the young cast. Not a bad flick. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A bizarre and in some ways comical, interesting non stop entertaining film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Avg. not as good as the others Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member this was a good film with some funny parts and the past always catches up with you. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Brotherhood is suspenseful and entertaining... it's just hard to watch an entire film full of moronic decisions. This movie feels a little forced. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Neil Genzlinger New York Times The gathering implausibility is dispelled by a nice ending twist. Rated: 3/5 Mar 11, 2011 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian Brotherhood has its faults -- the plot unravels a fair bit -- but the Tarantino homage is reasonable and the nightmarish atmosphere well maintained, with bizarre black-comic jolts. Rated: 3/5 Mar 7, 2011 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety Ingeniously constructed and propulsively paced. Mar 3, 2011 Full Review Rene Jordan El Nuevo Herald (Miami) The film is an interesting intellectual game where there is no sin without penance.
