Kevin Maher Times (UK) There are some beautiful moments in Noel Clarke's Brotherhood. Rated: 3/5 Oct 10, 2016 Full Review Catherine Bray Variety One-man film industry Noel Clarke concludes his 'Hood trilogy with an uneven but respectable final outing for anti-hero Sam Peel. Sep 14, 2016 Full Review Patrick Smith Daily Telegraph (UK) Few if any likely to include their performances here on their CV, which veer from pantomime to self-parodically flat-pack basic. Rated: 2/5 Sep 2, 2016 Full Review Nick Levine NME (New Musical Express) Brotherhood makes for a gripping and fitting conclusion to Clarke's trilogy; this is a film that keeps you entertained while delivering a genuine and honourable message about taking responsibility for your actions and the people you love. Rated: 4/5 Jun 9, 2021 Full Review Jason Best Movie Talk Morally muddled, cliché riddled, cack-handed urban crime melodrama. Dec 6, 2020 Full Review Alison Rowat The Herald (Scotland) If you think the acting is dodgy, wait till the dialogue gets going. Rated: 1/5 Aug 23, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I remember 'Kidulthood' being great, I can't remember anything about 'Adulthood'...and this? Well definitely diminishing returns. The dialogue and script is all over the shop and cringeworthy at times. When it does work it's great (excellent soundtrack as well), but those moments are few and far between. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Terrible. Bad casting. Awful acting. The dialogue was poor. I can't think of many good things to say about it. There isn't any. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/14/19 Full Review Audience Member Noel Clarke finishes his hood trilogy with Brotherhood which finds former street hood and gangster Sam trying to protect his family from someone in his past who is out for revenge. The first 2 films were dark, gritty looks at life as a gangster on the streets of London, the trilogy ends with a familiar story we have seen before and unfortunately this one is bundled with some clunky dialogue and almost pantomime-esque villains. Despite this I still found myself enjoying the film even though it didn't live up to the first 2 movies. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Entertaining, stylish and thought-provoking, Brotherhood ends the acclaimed trilogy on a very odd yet satisfying conclusion. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Enjoyed this gritty film. A bit complex for me to follow and understand with quite a few characters but overall a very good film Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Big ups to the Actors in the Cast who performed to there best abilities however as a viewer. I was NOT amused with the plot lines and the way some of the characters were portraying "Youngers from the Hood" Its quite Disrespectful to a representation of what you grew up on look like a Pantomine Play ... But like I said "Big ups to the Actors ... " (Everyone has to pay their Bills) #JustSayin Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
