adam b Fucking bad. Dumb, poorly made, and just plain shitty. Feels like a bad after school film that just fails terribly. Avoid, avoid, avoid Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A straight edge white group goes from petty vigilante antics and hooliganism to increasingly dangerous criminal acts to rid their town of its problems. A young Keanu Reeves must decide between his love for the high school sweetheart and moral judgments of the town or his increasingly irrational, increasingly dangerous group of friends, the Brotherhood of Justice. The quality is very made-for-tv, but it wasn't too shabby. Some interesting notes: This movie was released five years before Reeves acclaimed masterpiece Point Break (and maybe filmed way earlier than that), and there are two moments that audiences would have thought were original in Point Break that aren't. This B-movie made use of the Richard Nixon mask to conceal identity before Point Break made it cool, and the goofy line "Vaya con Dios" - a favorite for Point Break fans - was uttered here first. Besides Keanu, cast also includes Kiefer Sutherland, Billy Zane, and Lori Loughlin. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Subpar script and exceedingly poor execution! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting to see Keanu Reeves and Keifer Sutherland so young! Entertaining in its own way... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Neo and Jack Bauer clean up high school Batman style. Now that I raised your expectations, prepare to be disappointed. I love this film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member "I keep thinking that maybe if I saw this when it first came out I might have liked it better. But then again, I highly doubt it. I like Keanu Reeves. I think he's a decent actor. After watching this, I can see that he has improved extremely. It's definitely not his best. Some of the acting is good. I liked Keifer in this. Although he's not in the film nearly enough. The story itself could have been done better. I thought that maybe there would be like a big blow out between the "Brotherhood of Justice", and the "thugs" trashing the school. But instead they kept it on people they found to be guilty in their own eyes. They never even found out who vandalised the school. I didn't like all the racial crap in this either. Not something I want to watch again." Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
