As a project to place Bruce Lee's final, unfinished 1973 film, The Game of Death, in its proper context, Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey is up to the task.

The footage from a number of sources including Lee's home movies, TV interviews, and shows is well presented and paints a vivid picture of a man whose phenomenal talents were only just beginning to mature.

This is a great and eloquent overview of how Bruce Lee made those monumental films that he is known for. What he had to deal with and how his outlook on martial arts was transforming with each passing year.

This made me want to write but it's like 01:35 but tomorrow I will write with passion. There was so much to think about and I think that I understand why even as a little kid I was drawn to Bruce Lee. He had a lot of interesting things to say and there are a lot of layers to Game of Death that just inspires creativity in me. The narration in this documentary, though could have used a little work.

Wow! Now this is exactly what I was wanting out of a documentary based on Lee's life and career. Incredible footage, facts and interviews from his life which I believe was a great depiction of his life and everything he tried to accomplish before his life ended.
Finally getting to see the real Game of death was great, even though it was incomplete. 5/5
